Pictures and ##api.submissions.unknownError## [3.1.1.2 OJS]

I am using Jatsparser and default manuscript base by @Vitaliy heavily modified by myself. After upgrading to OJS 3.1.1.2 from 3.1, all pictures uploaded through XML (files), are not being displayed. Hence for now, I have reshifted to 3.1. If any one wants to check the problem, lemme know and I will reshift to 3.1.1.2. I use PHP 7.1 and tried with 5.6 and 7.2 as well, but both didnt work.

Furthermore, when I click submissions in the dashboard, I get ##api.submissions.unknownError##

Yup it was successful. It was working fine until few hours (may be due to cache). Dont know how it started.

Did you make any modifications in ManuscriptJats.inc.php class? I suspect there is a reference there in your case to a method inside it that does not exist.

In your modified ManuscriptJats.inc.php file, is there method loadTemplateData mentioned somewhere? Inside the hook, for example? Like HookRegistry::register('TemplateManager::display', array($this, 'loadTemplateData'));

The problem is that you are referencing to a method inside a theme that doesn’t exist. Can you simple delete this one line and check whether error persists?

@Vitaliy @ajnyga @asmecher @bozana The pics uploaded as the cover pic of the article however work and is visible, but if uploaded through the artwork/XML as dependent file is not visible unlike in OJS 3.1. So something to do with Jatsparser or Lensplugin or through XML which we upload pics or OJS 3.1.1.2 may not allow to show pics uploaded by any other plugin (because even pics in carousal are not displayed : browse plugin).

Also ##api.submissions.unknownError## comes in every user account when he presses submission and there is loading for ever when he clicks archives or any other tab.

JATS Parser and Lens Viewer work as expected.
Your articles contain the valid URL to images (on the first glance). When I’m trying to open your images on local machine, I receive:
Error interpreting JPEG image file (Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x0a 0x0a)
Most probable reason, the files were somehow corrupted during upgrade. The image files somehow received additional lines at the start of the code. As far as Google tells. 0x0a is a hexadecimal new line symbol.

Most probably this is not OJS but server-side issue.

The ##api.submissions.unknownError## occur when the restful_urls is changed in config.inc.php to On. If restful_urls = Off no error occur.
