Paypal Payment Successful - Article doesn't unlock

We implemented paypal payments and managed to get to the point where everything is set up and connected and purchases are available. It’s possible to purchase, PayPal invoices and charges the payment as it should, but the article doesn’t unlock. We tried with both custom and default theme to see if there was an issue there, but the end result is the same – payment is made, but no product is delivered.

Is this a known issue? Are there any known steps to fix this, or does a hotfix/plugin-update exist? We’d appreciate any help in this matter.

Any feedback? There was a lot of bot-spam during the time I posted this, so giving it a little bump to be safe.

Could you set up the system to use the Paypal testing mode (sandbox) and privately send me a URL? I’d like to try running through it.
