Paperbuzz plugin - is the server down?

The paperbuzz plugin is causing all my links to fail, with 500 internal server error. After debugging, I can see the issue is caused by the server api.paperbuzz.org being down.

Is this a known issue? Wasn’t sure who to contact about this, so posting here.

Yes, that server does appear to be down – but we’re not involved in that service, so I’d recommend contacting its maintainer.

I had that issue with my installation, I contacted the maintainers (which, i did not know were OpenAlex) and they replied saying that the plugin depended on crossreff event data which stopped being supported years ago.Thus the plugin slowly died
