ORCID Profile Plugin's email settings block submissions from being accepted

It seems to be a db-related problem, but I am not sure. Upon clicking “Record editorial decision” the button turns gray and the “loading” loop keep spinning.

Steps:

1. Go to to the submission details, review tab.
2. Click on “Accept submission”.
3. Click on “Next: Select files for copyediting”.
4. Click on “Record Editorial Decision”.
5. The loop keeps spinning and above action do not bring expected goals.

I moved the installation to a sandbox environment, where I have a complete control over the logs. It seems that this line of the report is problem-related:

It is indeed ORCID Profile Plugin and checked option in the E-Mail Settings section (of the plugin settings)

Send e-mail to request ORCID authorization from authors when an article is accepted ie. sent to copy editing

that causes the problem.

It looks like OJS is trying to use Google OAuth while authorizing ORCID.
