Describe the issue or problem
I have just installed OJS 3.4.0.1, and tried to enable the ORCID Profile Plugin. Unfortunately, the message said it was successfully enabled, but from the page, it was not enabled.
Steps I took leading up to the issue
I tried to look around, but did not succeed in solving this.
What application are you using?
The application used is OJS 3.4.0.1
I think this issue occurs when you try to enable the Plugin from within the Site Settings (Administration >> Site Settings >> Plugins).
Try enabling the Plugin from within the Journal ( Your Journal >> Website Settings >> Plugins)
Have you configured the plugin settings?
I can reproduce the error if I have not entered a client id and client secret yet.
So maybe it helps if you configure the settings first and then activate it
Did you access that from the site-wide settings (via Administration >> Site Settings) or from the Website settings within your specific journal? Or is it the same for both?
I can only configure the plugin from the Website settings (see image below).
I also face the same issue when enabling the plugin from the two options as @Sulthan90
You cannot get the settings option if the plugin is not successfully configured.
It seems that @lenare you are not using OJS 3.4.01
