ORCID ID Plugin direct to a TESTING PAGE

Hi guys,

I enabled the ORCID plugin at the registration page of my OJS3.1.1.0 and the when it was clicked on, it redirected the page to a TESTING page: see the following snapshot.

Is there anything we can configure to correct this?

Hi @neuroscirn,

Check the settings form for the ORCID Profile plugin and ensure that you haven’t chosen one of the sandbox options under “ORCID API”.

Hi @asmecher

I set the setting to PUBLIC. But where do we get the client ID and secret from? Do we need to pay ORCID in order to use the plugin?

I just realised that I will have to get the client ID and secret from ORCID. Here is the website for it in case someone as careless as me encounters the same problem in the future.
