Hi,

I could use a bit of clarification on how the Open Review setting for a journal functions: As an editorial team, we would like promote open reviews as a default, and set up our journal’s settings to “open review”. However, we just came across the case where one reviewer is asking his name not to be made public. It is our first full review, and I don’t have access to testbed to see how settings behave.

Hi! I think I answered my own question: in the review tab, one can edit each review separately, and specify the level of openness of the review. Upon requesting revisions, the double-blind reviewer is anonymised.
I am guessing that the Journal setting is the default for all reviews.
