OMP 3.4.0.1 throws Not allowed message after clicking on New Submission

Hello,

I was in the process of manual installation of OMP 3.4.0.1.

However, after successful installation it shows the following message , while visiting any press and clicking ‘New submission’ i.e :

Not Allowed

You are not allowed to submit to this press because submissions to all sections of this press have been deactivated or restricted. If you believe this is an error, please contact [name](mailto link)

How to resolve this , so that I could submit a monograph successfully?.

From the first look, it sounds like disabled submissions in the journal settings:

I checked in the workflow settings and the submissions aren’t disabled, here is the screenshot of the same :

Another possibility could be settings in journal sections. Please verify that nothing is disabled there.

Do you mean monograph sections? . Since this is OMP.

Getting same in OMP 3.4.0.2 as well in fresh install.

Checked almost all possible monograph settings .

Couldn’t find any setting that could disable this .

Is there any specific setting that needs to be enabled post installation .

I have used default installation method as mentioned here

https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/admin-guide/en/getting-started#install and just created a test monograph.

Still it throws this above error while submitting the monograph. Any special setting that needs to be enabled after creating monograph?.

Which settings should I check for the same . Have posted screenshot of the same .

Well, it is funny, you are right and wrong It actually really says section:) It must be a typo or something in the OMP. This is the screenshot of the series info. Please check that.

This is a bug I guess. I had to add a series. Without any active series it’s not possible to submit. No single monographs either.
