OJS3 Payment details

Version: OJS 3.3.0.14

On OJS 3.x version there are NO payment details on the payment page. Payments >Payments

unlike version 2.4.8.x

Are we not configured properly? It would be great to know what the purchased, when, etc

Payments work differently in OJS 3 than they did in OJS 2 - you can see an overview of this here: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/learning-ojs/en/settings-distribution#payments (including the short video)

Thanks Roger, We understand that OJS3 is different than OJS2. What I am saying is that in OJS2, we could get a detailed description of what was charged(paid) on OJS2 but we don’t see where to get those details on OJS3. I don’t see details on those manual pages supplied. Thank you.

thanks for clarifying - I think I misunderstood your question. Do you have the paypal plugin enabled? If so, how you can access the payment details is outlined here: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/using-paypal-for-ojs-and-ocs/en/view-payments-made

Roger, there are NO more payment details than what is show below. There need to be details on the transaction ID, item purchased, etc. All was available on OJS2.4.x.

Hi @radjr,

I spoke with one of our developers who had a looked at the code and found that some of the payment information is being stored, so it is worth exploring further. As a next step I would suggest starting a new post here on the forum under the feature request forum for this (please follow the template provided), and our developers will have a look and discuss further when they have the opportunity.
