OJS3: maximum file size for submissions

We want to upload a submission with a file size of 2.170 KB. We receive the following
error message:

Is there a maximum file size for submissions?

There isn’t a limit in OJS, but there will be limits imposed by your hosting environment.

First check your upload_max_filesize and post_max_size in your PHP configuration. Another less likely restriction is the LimitRequestBody Apache directive. https://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/core.html#LimitRequestBody
