[OJS3.2.1.1] Activity log missing in one user account

Hi together!

I have a user (Journal manager, Journal Assistent), where the activity log button of submissions after a specific date of submission is missing. Other users have access to the activity log of those submissions without any problems.

I have to add: Now the delete button disappeared either.

I don’t know, where to start looking for an error or what to do. Can anybody help?

I’m not quite sure what you mean by the delete button - where was this button appearing?

thanks for your response. It’s missing in 2 places:

  1. In the submission view in the upper right. Here are screenshots of the »damaged« user’s view:

and the admin’s view:

And in the submission overviews on the starting page of the backend. There the »damaged« user could neither see the activity log button nor the delete button in the lower right:

while the admin can:

This was simply gone after a while.

For the “damaged user” - what role settings do you have assigned to them?

I meant what do you have as the settings for the various roles for the categories that you’re using. So, under - users and roles - roles, like so:

I’m trying to determine if the role settings might have an impact on activity log access.
