OJS PKP-PN Plugin not Working for Archiving Journals

Describe the issue or problem
the PKP Preservation Network (PKP-PN) plugin looks enabled/normal in the admin UI, but it’s not archiving.

Steps I took leading up to the issue
For example:

  1. Go to website → installed plugin → (Under pkp pn plugin) click status

  2. Click on ‘status’

  3. there will be popup screen below

  4. See error is highlighted in screenshot ‘There has been an error regarding the deposit process‘

What application are you using?
For example, OJS 3.4.0-10

Hi @dung,

When did you first setup/configure the plugin? Can you provide the name of your journa/ISSN?

PKP Team

We have been using the PKP PN plugin for many years now.
Two examples are: ISSN is 3033-3997 - Journal of Critical Public Health and ISSN 1-23-1202 CMEJ.
You can see the past issues archived in this list http://pkp.sfu.ca/files/pkppn/onix.csv

Many thanks,
Gabriela

Hi @dung,

I’ve just checked and the deposits from your journal have been updated recently, whenever they are updated, the archiving process is restarted, you’ve got to wait a couple of days until it’s completed.

Best,
Jonas Raoni

I have just noticed that unfortunately, the Journal of Critical Public Health is being sent from our dev server. All entries in the list http://pkp.sfu.ca/files/pkppn/onix.csv for the the Journal of Critical Public Health are from the dev server.

The KP-PN Plugin on prod is configured and showing in progress status for the same journal. We will disable the plugin config on DEV. Is there anything from your end that needs to be done?

Many thanks,

Gabriela

Hello @jonasraoni and @gabriela1

Today March 6th screenshot on the same plugin and journal and archived items statuses have been updated, we will leave this ticket open for 2 or 3 weeks for monitoring purpose (above lockss_state = inProgress) … then close upon successful resolution.

Thank you all so much for your time.

Dung.
