OJS 3 Upgrade not migrating cover images of issues

Although the test upgrade on our test platform ran through without errors (OJS 2.4.8.1 → OJS 3.0.0.0) , for all journals the journal logo data and the cover images of the issues are not available.

All files were already available in the public folder. It is too much work to upload them again via the GUI.

Is this a known issue?

Thank you, Alec. We will await 3.0.1 or a later version - we can upgrade the production system only after there will also be a French and Italian translation available.
