hello dear bozana,

i have question that how to assign doi to an issue in ojs 3.0.1? i mean where i have to mention doi for the issue?

Hi @Aqsa_Yousif

If you want to assign DOIs to issues, you would need to configure the DOI plugin so, e.g. to select “issue” in the DOI plugin settings.
The issue DOIs will then be considered in the Crossref article XML – there is no extra support for deposit/registration of only issue DOIs – they are registered together with the article DOIs.

Maybe you can try to implement these changes on your OJS installation/version:

Or to somehow change this line of code, where the validation takes place: pkp-lib/XMLTypeDescription.inc.php at ojs-3_0_1-0 · pkp/pkp-lib · GitHub

Else, I am afraid I cannot help further… You should upgrade to the latest version…

thank u for the help . i need help again i am adding a doi code in "article_summary.tpl: file but unfortunately my front page display only one article . i know there is some mistake in this page that why it is not loading next article.

i am following these instructions

Did you considered this line as well: ojs/article_details.tpl at ojs-stable-3_0_2 · pkp/ojs · GitHub.
Else, could you take a look in your PHP error log file when accessing that page, to see if there are any errors i.e. to see what error occurs?

What OJS version are you using now?
How does your DB table genres look like?
And maybe, do you have this change: pkp/pkp-lib#2506 fix missing key at genre editing · pkp/pkp-lib@b40ab2c · GitHub?

Dear OJS/PKP Team

We have got DOIs from CrossRef for our journals but it should be manually added to each paper and this thing hinders our normal operation and we have to always ask somebody who is IT to do it for us.
Therefore, could you please guide me how to easily do it without asking somebody else all the time and this is costly.

Please someone explain and assist me!
