OJS 3.1 How can I create a menu item that points to search author page?

Hi everyone

I’ve found that OJS 3.1 brings some search filters, as published after, published before, by author, and I have found too that consulting the page through the URL http://path_to_ojs/index.php/journal_name/search/authors, this brings a page with a list of authors that published some article, for my journal the sample is as show in the following figure:

Someone knows how to create a menu item in the Primary menu that points to this page? I have created a menu item in the tab Navigation Menus, but I can’t get the menu item points to the required page.

Please see this thread, it explains how create menu items with customized URL. Instead remote you wil use a URL to your own OJS.

I have noticed that when you create a new static page it is not displayed in Navigation Menus’s options. only default items are available. To create a new menu item you should click “Add item” ( Navigation Menus >>> Navigation Menu Items) and then chose Remote URL >>> “Link to any URL on another site” >>> … and add URL of the page you have created. After that you should edit directly Primary or User menu … your page with URL will be available [test]
