[OJS 3.1.2] Plugin of Recommended articles of the author makes the platform slower

Hi,

At this moment I am using OJS version 3.1.2.

The platform has been very slow in the last days and reviewing I realize that the problem may be the Author’s Recommended Articles plugin, since if I deactivate it, the article display pages load more quickly, or I don’t know if this plugin cause problems with others that I have installed and active
