OJS 3 does offer a Usage Statistics plugin as shown below.
Within the setting of this plugin you can enable the Statistics display option.

The Food & Nutrition Research journal is on OJS 3 and utilizes this feature.

Hi @juanito,
One of our developers took a look at your OJS 2 installation and had indicated that the visual statistics you currently have is customized. OJS 3 does not currently provide anything public statistics like this at this time.
We do have plans to extend our internal statistics visualization dashboard (outlined here: https://pkp.sfu.ca/2019/03/01/ojs-3-1-2-released/) so that it’s optionally available as a public page. However, there is no timeline on on the development of this.
