[OJS 3.1.2.1] "freezing" during installation

Is this a case of the submit button on the installation page not doing anything, or is the submit button simply refreshing the installation page to the same state over again without an error message? For the second case, there is a similar resolved report here:

Thanks for help and your support. I was trying to install before both with mySQL and mySQLi but neither try succeeded. However, while I change into mySQLi and changed username according to your remarks, to one using lowercase latin alphabet letters only, the installation script worked correctly. So the problem to my mind was connected with lack of error message in validator of username field.
