Description of issue: I would like to manually change the date of the posted announcement. Can I find it somewhere in the site files and change? I don’t use customized CSS file. So if I need to edit some default CSS (?), could you please also tell me, where can I find it?
To change the announcement’s date posted, you’ll need to modify it in the database. See the announcements table. If you’re not handy with SQL, you can use a tool like phpMyAdmin (available on most commercial hosts).

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the database. Then can I hide dates for all announcements like it’s given here? If so, I would still need the location of the file to edit.
You wouldn’t need to edit an existing file (and we don’t recommend doing it that way anyway, as you’d need to preserve modifications whenever you upgrade). Instead, you can upload a snippet of CSS in your journal settings. See: Create a Stylesheet
