It seems that there is no way for the author to withdraw/delete the submission or modify the track. The “edit metadata” function only allows author to change the title and the content of the abstract. We are using the most recent version of OCS.

That’s by design; currently, the author needs to contact the director in order to make those kinds of changes.

Look at it this way wenbin, if you had a conference with 400 people and several tracks if the authors could change the tracks when they liked it would be very difficult for you to schedule the talks as the talks could suddenly change from one track to another. It’s something that you want to control, and not let authors change.
