OCS - changing subject heading for author notification to track director

When author wants to notify track director (after uploading the revised paper, in Director Decision box), the subject heading is the title of the paper. This is difficult for the TD to recognize the email from which conference.

So I would like to add the name of conference, for example [ConfName] so the subject will be

[ConfName] Paper Title

I cannot find the author email in the prepared email templates.

How can I change this, which file I can modify to insert a simple string [ConfName].

There should already be the scheduled conference’s acronym included in the subject line – see…

I check the file, the same with yours.

As far as I try, so far other emails have the conference acronim [confname], except this one:

Can you reproduce it. Do you have conference acronim, in the email subject? I have only paper title.

I am having the same problem using OCS 2.3.6 the subject does not identify the conference and the “Status” of the paper does not change when the author uploads a new version and sends an e-mail to the “Track Director”

Hi @Javier_Bustamante_Di,

That’s currently by design; to tweak the status you’d need to edit the templates.
