OAI PMH Toolkit broken link

Hello,

In OJS 2.4.8 in file /lib/pkp/classes/oai/OAI.inc.php lines 306 to 308 a site is defined as toolkit, but that site is down since more than a year (VTOAI Perl Data Provider).

This is shown as an error when parsing the URL for an OAI-PMH in http://oval.base-search.net/

Could we use another url for this, thank you

Hi @lcmartinezru,

I inquired with the XSD’s author about this a year ago and apparently a new home was imminent – I’ve checked in again.

Could you confirm the VTOAI Perl Data Provider site is up and running again?
I was checking on this post since I am experiencing problems at having my OJS data parsed by Worldcat through an OAI request. Wolrdcat support pinpointed the “toolkit” schema as being problematic. But that was before your post. And now I’m checking on the provided link, all seems fine… is it?
I cannot tell by myself, since I did not visit the link at the time site was down…

When I visit the site, I get a line of message:

VTOAI Perl Data Provider Hussein Suleman hussein@vt.edu Virginia Tech 3.0 http://www.dlib.vt.edu    http://www.dlib.vt.edu/projects/OAI/

Is that how the site is expected to be loaded? I hope there is problem with the site.
