Notification about a new issue without registration

I would like to ask abot the possibility to send notifications to unregistered users.

I know that during registration the user can tick the appropriate box and ask for notifications, but what about the user who doesn’t want to register?
I know there is one email template New notification from {$siteTitle} for unregistered users - could you please tell me how to make it work so that unregistered users can receive notifications about the publication of a new issue?

Hi @apla,

I’m not clear on what you mean here by unregistered users - these are users who would not have an account within OJS? If this is the case, then OJS does not have a means of interacting with them.
