Not installing: i try to install the OJS (ojs-2.4.8-1)

Hello there, i try your to install your ojs in our University website but it only show white screen, please help, i in schedule to release it on October 1st. it works in offline xampp, , i try to open the config.inc.php and edit the Installed off into installed on and i also try to installed manually the database but it nothing show. . this my website: http://bilar.bisu.edu.ph/brj/index.php, ,

Check this FAQ entry. If you’re encountering this during installation, you’re likely running into either a missing MySQL module or a file permissions problem in cache/.

Hello sir, I’m stock in this line

last printed: Importing lib.pkp.classes.filter.TypeDescriptionFactory

after i change the permission of all directory and file to 777.

i don’t have access on the server the administrator of the university just give me the sftp username and password so i can’t access the php error log.

Hi @runnerx,

You’ll definitely need access to the PHP error log – it should be available somewhere via SFTP. The details wlil vary depending on your server’s configuration.

Hello, because of too many no display issue and i dont have an access to the control panel to check the error log, i suggest the university to move the OJS to another server/hosting and now it is working fine.
