We’are wondering if you plan to release the next LTS version this year ?

OJS 3.5 is expected by the end of the year. You can see more in this PKP presentation:

In the LTS annoucement under the heading “What happens when a LTS version reaches end of life?” is says:

At least 12 months before a LTS version reaches EOL, we will designate a new LTS version, so that you have one year to perform an upgrade.

If OJS 3.5 is only expected by the end of the year, then will be the EOL of 3.3 be extended accordingly?

Hi @Jim_Nicholls,

We’ll maintain the last LTS for at least 6 months after the next one is designated; there should be ample time to plan and run an upgrade. We’ll announce more about this as we approach the 3.5 release.
