New components do not appear in file upload step of submission process

I’ve created a new component, and removed some of the out-of-the-box ones. When I try a new submission, my new component is not available to be selected at the file upload step, while some of the original ones that I removed have been removed (so that works!).

How can I make this new component appear in the options for characterizing files in the file upload step in a new submission?

I have logged out and back in, restarted my browser (Firefox), and waited for the change to “take.” I have tried a different browser entirely (Chrome).

Using OJS 3.something (PKP hosted).

If you tick the first option, you can’t see it.
If you tick the second option, you will see it in the list while sending the article.
