Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to upload a large number of articles into OJS 3 at once or even better to migrate an already existing journal (not an OJS journal) without uploading the articles one by one. If yes, could someone quickly walk me through some of the steps I’ll have to take?

There are batch conversion tools, as well as the QuickSubmit plugin, but as OJS does article-based publication you’ll need to consider content article-by-article. See https://pkp.sfu.ca/wiki/index.php/Importing_and_Exporting_Data for details. It is an option to use Issue Galleys to publish back-issue content with e.g. a single PDF per issue, but note that you’ll be missing a lot of important functionality e.g. indexing in Google Scholar and exposure via the OAI-PMH toolset that way.

I have a similar issue and I have tried to convert files to XML or Docx files and the files do not seem to upload , what am I doing wrong?
