I have ojs installed on the ISP and unfortunately there was a problem and I lost the OJS MYSQL database. Can I rebuild the database using the config.inc.php file? Or will I have to reinstall OJS again?
No, the config.inc.php file is distinct from the MySQL database. If you had an existing, OJS database, you might want to check with your webhost to see if any backups are kept. If you’re just installing from scratch, you would have to reinstall again. For future reference, we strongly recommend backing up your database when doing any kind of upgrade or maintenance.
