Recently I am about to set up a scientific journal using OJS PKP and therefore I should buy a host and domain. For this purpose, I wonder to know does OJS PKP has more compatibility with Linux hosts or windows hosts? and which one will be recognized by Google Scholar engines easier in continue?
Noted that I will install OJS using Softaculous app installer.

Most opt to host with linux servers and have had success.Most of our documentation refers to linux commands: Managing the Server Environment
Although, there may be equivalents for Windows environments, and OJS can be hosted in Windows, Linux is often preferred. Please note that some users have reported issues with using softactulous to install OJS. Please see relevant forum threads here: https://forum.pkp.sfu.ca/search?q=softaculous
