Our journal recently sent out an announcement email. At the bottom of the email there is a link where people can “unsubscribe” however we were informed by some users that this link did not work. How would you go about testing why/how the link isn’t working? I don’t see HTML related to it in any of the email templates.

What was the URL that the “Unsubscribe” was linking to? Are you able to look at the underying HTML from the prepared email?
Typically in OJS, “unsubscribing” to notifications of this nature is done via the “Notifications” in an individual’s user account: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/learning-ojs/3.4/en/user-accounts#viewing-and-changing-your-profile

So this was an announcement, correct? It was added through Announcements - Add announcement? If so, you might be able to go in there and see past announcements and look at the link there - without knowing where this is linking to, it is hard to tell - the image doesn’t provide any details on where this is linking to. By default, so far as I can tell, I don’t think OJS includes an unsubscribe link itself - it leaves it up to put the user to put it there. Is it possible that this unsubscribe link was put there by the person and the text/link just re-used across several different announcements?
The closest link to unsubscribe to announcements is: https://yourjournalnam.com/index.php/testdrive-journal/user/profile
However, this doesn’t bring you directly there - it brings you to the User profile and from there one has to select the Notifications tab and then unsubscribe to announcements.
