We maintain several journals with a long publication history (> 100 years). Over the years, the titles of said journals have changed several times. Currently, we have added them as separate journals with the note, that this journal continues as ‘new journal name’ and a link to that separate journal. However, we are going to upgrade our system to OJS 3 at the end of the year and want to reorganize the content. We want to present such cases as one journal with a continuous archive. But what about the journal meta data? Is there a best practice how to handle this in OJS 3?
