Issue with contributor order affecting submission author

Good morning,

we are not sure whether this is a bug or the system’s default behavior.

When we change the order of the contributors in the publication, the submission appears as if it was submitted by a different person, even though the main contributor remains the same.

We have attached some images to better explain the issue.

Could you please let us know if this can be resolved?

Hi @paolo_pellegrino,

Yes - I tested this believe this is intentional - if you move the first author up, they will then become the first author, listed at the first of “author et. al..”
