Presumably (and hopefully) you are not using OJS 2.x? If you are, I strongly recommend upgrading to a more recent, stable version like 3.3 or 3.5, as OJS 2.x is out-of-date and not upgrading may pose security and stability risks.

This plugin lets you define which file types authors are allowed to upload during the submission process.

This plugin allows you to limit who can upload public files and what types of files they can upload.

I apologize because I am still using version 2.4.8.5. The reason I am still sticking with it is because I am afraid of upgrading to the latest version due to difficulties with the system. Do you have any recommendations for a way or a YouTube tutorial for the upgrade so I can follow the steps? Should I upgrade directly to the latest version or do it gradually/in stages?
