Is there a way to batch archive active submissions

Our active submission list is full of published articles. We imported back issues from another CMS and somehow published articles appear in both the active list and the archives. The active submission list is long (almost 600 articles) which we would like to clear out, but keep in the archives. Is there any way to do this in a batch?

How are you importing those back issues? Are you using quickSubmit plugin or uploading manually each issue/article?

I wasn’t involved when the import was done, but I believe that the Native XML Plugin was used.

We’re using 3.0.2 BTW

Could you please confirm with your IT staff how importing was done? Since NativeXML doesn’t keep submission and editorial history it is unusual that a native and regular importing action had put articles in submission pending status.
