Internal Server Error Extracting Plugin .tar.gz

Describe the issue or problem
I cannot install a new plugin in ojs.

Steps I took leading up to the issue
I want to install medra-main plugin. I have been downloaded medra-plugin for ojs3.4 from git link.

  1. in plugins tab I select new plugin button
  2. select tar.gz file
  3. click on save button. the following message appeared:
    Internal server error, could not extract the plugin file.
    in config.inc.php this is tar configuration:
    tar = /usr/bin/tar
    can anyone help me?

What application are you using?
For example, OJS 3.3.0-4

Hi @monirehbastami,

Perhaps you could provide the link to the where specifically you’ve downloaded the plugin from Github? Also, can you verify what specific version of OJS are you using (e.g. you say 3.3.0-4, but do you mean 3.4.0-4?) - please indicate this in your posts, as it is important for troubleshooting. Also, knowing what version of OJS you are using and what version of the plugin is important, because some plugins have not been tested against particular versions of OJS and may not work.
