Following thread is about a similar error “Assertion failed” in upgrade process:
The error log message:
copy(/home/umeshstepup123/public_html/ojs/files/journals/1//articles/395/attachment/395-1-1023-1-13-20160213.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/umeshstepup123/public_html/ojs3/lib/pkp/classes/file/FileManager.inc.php on line 159
It seems not to be related to upgrade itself, but folder permission. It is a JPG file which is not allowed be read. Could you verify if it is with right reading permissions? And it’s parent folders as well?
