Installation or upgrading

Hi,
I try to:
a/ upgrade OJS,
b/ install new version,

in every situation after clicking on ‘upgrade’ or ‘install’ I receive blank page.

Could you help me with this issue?

Can you clarify some further details:

  • Where are you clicking upgrade/install? Provide a screenshot perhaps.
  • If you’re upgrading you are using OJS already? If so, what specific version (e.g. 3.1.1?
  • Any output from your PHP Error log that might indicate where the error is occuring.

When upgrading from 3.2.1-4 to 3.3.0-3 make sure you apply this change first:

Hi,

  1. On first pages of installing/upgrading www page you can choose - upgrade or install. After clcking on it I have the empty page without any output.
  2. I’ve tried to upgrade from 2.4 to 3.2.1. Effects - a/ blank page and no progress of upgrading b/ finally page like on attachment.1122 Before upgrade it was like attachmen2attachment2
  3. No output from php.

3rd is with the error - it is from chrome, using Firefox is only blank page.

Hi @zbigniew,

Since it appears you’re using the web-based upgrade tool, did you try the suggestion above? Installation or upgrading - #3 by alaskadream

Alternately, try the command-line based upgrade – we recommend this anyway.
