Hello from Cardiff University Press! We’re new to OJS and still learning how it works.
In the near future it’s likely that we’ll be accepting a few journals for publication that have previously been hosted on OJS but published elsewhere. How do we transfer all their OJS records, settings, files etc. to our own version of OJS? Would our Journal Manager (or Site Administrator) need to be given access to the original OJS data for the journal, in order to migrate it over to us? Is there a simple way to do it without the need for lots of technical expertise…or should we treat the journal as if it was brand-new to OJS and set it up from scratch?
