How to show when an article is published

Hi,
How do I show when an article is published? It’s relevant for our journals with subscriptions. Because of their embargo it will be of interest for our readers to know when it will become open access.
At the moment we’re using the OJS 2.4.8.1 version

Hi Niels Erik,

I would suggest using the Notify Users function available directly from the User Home page (editor). You can select Readers only to notify all readers about the publication or about the embargo period.

You may also want to add a sentence underneath the abstract in the abstract metadata of the embargoed article, e.g.

Published: 9 February 2018
This article will be made open access on 9 August 2018
