How to resolve sending email errors?

I m new to OJS having zero knowledge. i m in very trouble situation.
I m facing error notifications for emails. Like if sending email to reviwers or authors i m facing error…
How to reset my email configuration.
or how to setup SMTP on OJS (if SMTP can resolve my issue.).
my administration email is gmail.
Please provide me possible solutions with details.
Either i convert to SMTP option?
Or is there any other solution ?.
because my OJS system is not sending any emails.

Have you taken a look at the Email Section on the Administrator Guide? This might be a good starting point.
