is there any opportunity to bring DataCite DOIs into CrossRef via OJS?
I would be grateful for any hint!

Are you migrating from DataCite as a DOI registrar to CrossRef? If so, you could certainly use the CrossRef plugin to re-register the DOI metadata once the transfer is completed.
If you are simply wanting cross-coverage of your registration in both DataCite and in CrossRef, I know that is a service which EZID provides, and there is a plugin from VTUL to facilitate EZID registration.
