How do I delete a submission as an editor?
I’ve created a few test-purpose dummy submissions, but I can’t delete them.
Past answers suggest that I do “Reject and Archive Submission” (How do I delete a submission?), but I don’t see that option in my system.
Even after I decline the submission, it sits under “in review” and doesn’t move to “archive”.

Try the “Reject and Archive Submission” link on the submission’s Summary page (as Editor). That should send it to the archive.

I have the same problem, I’m using OJS 2.4.8.2, and I have archived the articles but I don’t see the button Delete.

Hi @Mabel,
I suspect you’re browsing as a Section Editor. To delete a submission from the archive, you’ll need to browse as an Editor.

I have not been able to figure this out. Here’s what I’m seeing:
There is no delete button and nothing that says “archive” either.
BTW, I can delete other submissions, but not this one, and yes, I’m logged on as the editor. I wonder if the problem has to do with the fact that I submitted this article myself, as the author.
