We are using OJS 3.0.1 version. We have thousands of members in our journal website. When I check the user section there are so many fake users listed. Please check the attached screenshot and suggest me. How can I remove permanently from our OJS website. If I remove users from the database, It can defect to our journal website or not? Or If I go for merging user option. How can I merge the multiple users?

I would suggest ensuring that CAPTCHA testing is enabled in config.inc.php to help prevent spam registrations. You can batch-merge users using tools/mergeUsers.php.

We, at ANGLISTICUM are also having the same problem with thousands of phantom users. Is there any simple way to select and delete these users in one click instead of removing one by one? Please instruct!
