How can i replace a paper?

an author would like to replace their papers.
how you do it?
can I delete a old document and upload a new one?
if a second document is loaded the system renames it as if it were a second phase … RV-2

Hi @ET-webmaster,

It is intentional that files are tracked as revisions rather than being replaced – that way the academic record is preserved. Are you experiencing problems as a result?

hi @asmecher
thank you very much.

the organization requires an additional cost for each page in addition to those foreseen.
the request is declared but
some authors upload long documents.
and after our second notice they send them back.
and need to be recharged.
it is not a second revision but still in the acceptance phase.

Sometimes the authors get the document wrong …

Other times the authors forget to enter data etc. etc.

To avoid confusion between revisions it is important to be able to modify the first submission …

Francesco

Hi @ET-webmaster,

OCS is designed to preserve revisions of a submission; to change that would require modifications to the code, I’m afraid.
