Help to create a role

Hi,

I need to create a role that allows users to change any ‘visual’ settings or ‘text’ displayed in a journal, and deny any access to submissions.
Is useful to a Web Designer or for example.
Is that possible?

Please check workflow stages in your OJS and create role and check that it can access submission in that stage.
Go on Users/Roles and check that. If any help is further needed please feel free to ask for guidance.

I’m searching for a role that blocks access to any submission.
I’m only able to create a role that allow edit site information AND submission areas.
Sorry about my poor english.

Above mentioned roles do not have access to submission. Titles of stages are above that screen like below:

All mentioned roles do not have access to settings menu too.
I need a role that does not have access to submissions / archive and has access to setting menu.
I’m not shure if it’s possible with current roles controll.

Setting is only for higher functions such as admin, journal manager… why that person should change something in Setting menu?

Because we need a role for someone like a ‘web designer’.
Journal summary, contact information, web site appearance, web site information, announcements. All those options are under setting menu.
We have a person who control all this information and don’t deal with articles.
Currenty this person have all access privileges.
