Hi!
We have been publishing a journal since 2017, and it has not yet been indexed in Google Scholar. Some of the articles are not found even in Google Search, and some of those found are not displayed properly.
After we upgraded from OJS 2.4.8.1 to 3.1.2.4 nothing changed.
The Google Scholar (and Dublin Core) plugin has been enabled. The sitemap has been submitted to Google Search Console (and verified), and the robots file has been updated with the sitemap. The metategs seem fine. Please help me to solve this problem, as I am really at a loss here. Thank you for your time!

OJS 3.1.2.4
Hi @emsj,
I’d highly recommend upgrading to a later version of OJS, since OJS 3.1 is no longer supported. Additionally, you may want to check out our Google Scholar troubleshooting guide: https://docs.pkp.sfu.ca/google-scholar/en/#troubleshooting-for-site-administrators and try some of what is noted there.

It might be that your journal was once hacked (see screenshot of Google search) and therefore it may be blacklisted for Google Scholar indexing.
The only thing is to contact someone at Google vi the link provided by @rcgillis.
@rcgillis Thank you for your response and the link! We will try upgrading.
@mpbraendle Thank you for the suggestion! We had this problem before the website was hacked. Could you let me know where I can find their contact details? We tried emailing them at scholar-support@google.com but nobody answered.
