Files archived with PKP PN

Hello everyone,

I and our team have recently enabled the PKP PLN plugin to preserve some of our journals, hosted by OJS 3.3.
All of them are really satisfied to finally get archival, but they still have questions, particularly on the files formats archived. We could not answer precisely to them. So, could anyone please tell us what kind of files are archived through PKP PN ? The XML (metadata and article’s content) ? The PDF ? We also display articles in HTML, is it archived too ?

Hi!

You can export a sample issue using the Tools > Native XML Plugin, that’s essentially the same data we’re keeping on our servers. Basically I’d say all submission files are stored, but reviews, decisions, and other type of data will be not. This is supposed to be improved on a next release.
