Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned in Section Editing

When try to edit the Sections i.e. Research Articles and editorials in the journal Settings the error appears “Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned”. Please help

Are you able to check your PHP error logs - those usually provide more helpful error messages? Also, which version of OJS are you using (e.g. 3.3.0-15) - please indicate this in forum posts as it assists those who are helping to troubleshoot your issue.

I have mentioned the version of OJS earlier in my post, it is 3.3.0.15.
I can access the error logs, I have attached a screen shot I think you are talking these error logs.

Sorry about that. You did indeed mention your version number - I may have gotten your post confused with another.

These look like error pages that you can configure with your webhost - not error logs. This post provides some helpful advice on how to go about accessing error logs:

Where you’ll find your PHP error log will depend on your server’s setup. In most shared hosts, there is a directory called logs or something similar.
