Error with Twitter Block Plugin in OJS 3.4.0.6

Hello everyone,

My problem is with the Twitter Block plugin. When I try to save the changes in the Appearance setup to update the Block, I cannot save, and an error pops up.

I deleted the Twitter Block plugin from the plugin gallery and also removed it from the database, but the error still pops up.

Anyone know what could be causing this error?

Hi @OJS_Darryl, it’s possible the block might still be in your database - did you check the journal_settings table in the sidebar setting for your journal? You may have to manually remove it from that list too.

Instructions for Modifying Journal Settings

  1. Access the Database:
  • Navigate to Database.
  1. Open Journal Settings:
  • Go to Journal Settings.
  1. Locate Sidebar:
  • Look for Sidebar and click on Edit.
  1. Manage Twitter Plugin:
  • Check for the Twitter plugin.
  • If found, delete the Twitter plugin.
  1. Save Changes:
  • Click Save or Done to confirm your changes.
