When I run the command ‘php tools/upgrade.php upgrade’ I get an error as follows
‘PHP Fatal Error: Cannot unset $this in /var/www/lib/pkp/lib/adodb/adodb-xmlschema.inc.php on line 160’
Is there a fix for this?

OJS 3.0.0 is pretty old – I would suggest upgrading to a newer version. This issue has definitely been fixed in more recent releases.
